CKO changed my life! Since joining in January 2009 I have lost 70 pounds. But more importantly, I am happy and healthy. I’d tried and failed to lose the weight before because I could never find a fitness routine I could stick with for life. When you are overweight it can be very intimidating to start at a gym but CKO made it so easy! Joe, Trish and all the instructors were so welcoming and supportive to my efforts and the program itself is structured in a way that no matter what your level of fitness is you will get the best workout of your life! I was pretty scared for my first class after seeing the end of the prior class! But Chet (my first CKO instructor!) told me to move at my own pace and not to worry about what others were doing. This was the best advice! I made it through the class and felt great about myself! I had never sweat so much in my life or had so much FUN working out! I was hooked already! I went back two more times that week and since the workouts are so varied I found I never got bored! Weeks turned into months and the pounds kept coming off. As I lost the weight and my fitness level increased I found that the workouts were just as intense because I could move at a quicker pace and perform more of the movements. The workout continues to kick my butt because it is so varied and intense. I still sweat like crazy and have FUN in every class! I’m hooked for life! Thanks Joe, Trish, Chet, Matt, Lenore and everyone at CKO for helping me find my inner athlete! I’ve never felt so good!
similar things have been said about static stretching -- what do you guys think? Do you think cooling down makes a difference?

Hm - maybe it's cause this study was done in Spain and drink wine with every meal, but still -- something to think about! And very similar to our 10-week diet :)
